One of the many ways that Google+ can help you to reach more customers is by allowing you to have a wider social media profile and search results. By constantly posting updates to your Google+ profile, you are subsequently boosting your presence on the first page of Google results. The holy grail of success is your Google results. If you are in the top results on page 1, you’ve made it. You are doing what it takes to get your name out there. Keep up the good work!

Let’s face it. As business owners who are investing their time, money, and energy into a business, we want to know if our labors of love are working. How can we do this by using Google+? Very simple. Check on your Ripples. The Ripples are statistics that allow you to see how your content is being shared, who it is being shared with, and if you’re going in the right direction. Tools like this are invaluable simply because they provide immense information and don’t cost thousands of dollars. You’re not paying a marketing company to compile the same information that you have readily available from your Google+ account.

Customers want to know that they  mean something to the business they frequent. People use their money to show approval and disapproval with a company. As a business owner, you want to interact with your customers. Google+ allows you this luxury. You can head over to your profile and connect with people, in real-time, and address questions, concerns, and even compliments. It works for both sides. You get to “hear” what your customers want and they get to “hear” your resolutions and gratitude. A little goes a long way.

Branding: Why It’s Important

Branding is one of the hardest things for any business to do. You want to have a product that is so outstanding that your customers associate only your company with a particular product. Do you want to reach potential customers? Do you want to have them try out your product in the hopes that it is so excellent that they immediately go out and purchase one from your company? Then use your Google+ account to offer them free samples. You can require them to sign up and follow your page before giving the sample. Not only are you sharing your product or service, you’re collecting valuable personal information. You know age demographics, what people earn annually, and their shopping habits. Now you can use this information to your benefit. Can we say “targeted content?”

This is where you get the opportunity to find like-minded people, offer the chance to show off a new product, and just allow others to see your vision while finding out if their vision can help you.
